Famines and Pestilences...
And there will be famines, pestilences,.
At the dawn of the new millennium of planet earth, discussing
subjects like "Famines and Pestilences", may appear to most people
irrelevant at best, or otherwise a distant echo of medieval times gone
by.
Our malls, supermarkets mega markets and corner
stores, filled of every kind of useful and useless goods, both edible
and non, stand proudly as cathedrals to the contemporary religion of
individual shop-till-you-drop consumption.
Mankind never had it so good.
Same with medical care. We have Hospitals where a form of modern magic
takes place: you get in sick and get out healed, (well, that's
debatable, but that is the general idea). So, talking about famines and
pestilences seems a scurrilous subject
But the music is about to change, and it may do so
rather rapidly.
The Word warns us that in the End Times, in which we are
living, famines and deseases will take place in large scale around the
world. This present golden era of going to the store and being able to
choose over 100 different kinds and flavours of yougurt or gong to a hospital to get magical medications and
robot-guided surgeries, is soon going to be a thing of the past.
